William is an experienced consultant who has worked with nonprofit organizations, small businesses, entrepreneurs and consumers for over 30 years. William Darling graduated from Lincoln University with a Bachelor Degree in Education and Political Science in 1972. For the next three years, he worked as a consultant and community organizer with nonprofit organizations before deciding to attend law school.
William then completed his law studies at the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1978 and went directly into the private practice of law. His legal practice areas consisted of bankruptcy, consumer rights, real estate, small business development and consultant service to nonprofit organization while specializing in debtor's defense with a particular emphasis on foreclosure. He recognized that litigation was too expensive, time consuming and not the best use of precious resources. He decided to focus his effort in non- adversarial areas. William also decided to offer consulting services to nonprofit organizations in areas where an attorney may not be desirable nor necessary. He also recognized that many nonprofit organizations could not afford the cost of an attorney, particularly in the start-up stage. (See disclaimer)
Accordingly, William turned his focus to offering consulting services to individuals and nonprofit organizations where there is not a need nor a desire for the service of an attorney. He understood that in this information age, people needed and desired information. He also recognized that information and assistance could be made more affordable and faster by an online consultant service. William started his virtual consultant service as a way of providing discounted, affordable and high quality services to nonprofit organizations.
